Description Join a dynamic group of clinical research professionals at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. The Clinical Research Office is seeking an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to work with a leading group of scientists within the Schepens Eye Research Institute, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary who focus on conducting research to monitor eye health, maximize use of a person’s vision and to find ways to maintain mobility with limited vision.

As a Study Coordinator Assistant you will serve as a key member in a variety of clinical research studies. Responsibilities include recruitment of study participants and facilitation of their visits as in a number of studies. The incumbent will be responsible for contacting study subjects, coordinating study visits for enrolled and prospective study participants, and working with existing sources and developing new sources of recruitment for studies. Other duties include assistance with the preparation of IRB submissions and enrollment reports for submission to funding agencies and related activities.

Requirements You should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant area, and possess excellent verbal communications skills, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills, be able to work well independently and as a part of a team. Good interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under deadline pressure are essential. Experience working with databases is an asset.
