As a product manager for Computational Pathology/ Image analytics, your key challenge is to develop and commercialize image analytics products that help solve key clinical problems in the field of pathology diagnosis. We truly believe Computational Pathology will unlock the full potential of digital pathology. The key is to identify and realize value propositions that deliver differential clinical value while embedded in the pathology workflow. Your responsibilities in a nutshell:
You will be end-to-end responsible for clinical diagnostic algorithms products and services portfolio (together called Computational Pathology) including the development of pricing and revenue models like subscriptions or managed services.
Analyse the market, competition, clinical & customer needs and state of the art technology developments (e.g., deep learning), in order to find new business opportunities with new product-market combinations within the business strategy.
Define the product vision, roadmap and innovation plans for your product portfolio and translate that into clear product specifications for the development and Q&R teams in such a way that in short, mid and long term a sound business result can be achieved.
Manage and prioritize the Computational Pathology product backlog using inputs from sales, customers and key opinion leaders.
Guide and provide regular feedback to the development of new products from the initial phase until the final product, in order to get the ‘right product’ with optimal combination of performance and price in time for the defined market segment.
Prepare and plan, together with the sales channels, the market introduction of the new products, including promotion material and product information, in order to generate the largest impact in the market.
To follow the business during the lifecycle of the product and to take corrective actions when needed, in order to generate the maximum profit contribution during the whole life cycle. This is done in close collaboration with development, Q&R, clinical affairs, supply chain, service and installation and/ or with external partners.
Work closely with business development to identify (clinical) partners who can help time to market for clinical diagnostic algorithms (IP sharing, know-how or licensing current products of partners etc.,).

We are looking for
To be successful as a Product Manager you will have the following:
At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in product management, preferably in software
Experience in medical devices/ software markets relevant to healthcare IT is a must
Demonstrated knowledge of working in agile environment. To be practically trained in SAFe 4.0 is a plus
Demonstrated experience of working with development/ scrum teams with products delivered to market
Experience in professional knowledge of marketing methods i.e., turning market requirements into detailed user requirements for product development
Experience in performing in complex environments and the ability to interact with customers and other stakeholders
Pathology/ Oncology domain knowledge is a plus but not a pre-requisite
Passion to work in a start-up like environment
A keen interest and demonstrated skills in implementing innovative concepts for analytics software deployment and state-of-art technology (e.g., deep learning) is a plus but not a pre-requisite
Fluent in English, willing to travel (20-30%) and enjoying interactions with a variety of people with different background and personalities
