We transform pathology labs worldwide to a digital way of working with the aim to improve clinical and financial outcomes. We digitize tissue samples with ultrahigh resolution & speed resulting in Peta Bytes of image data, which we mine for insights through machine-learning based algorithms and stream in real-time to pathologists at any location.
Challenges that labs face when embarking on the journey to digital pathology include IT solution design and integration, transforming internal processes and managing a healthy financial return on investments while doing so.
As product manager solution deployment you will identify what it takes to allow pathology labs to get started and scale-up to 100% use of digital pathology in an efficient and effective way. And translate your insights into a well-defined solution offering including IT deployment & integration options, transformation services and pricing models.
Your responsibilities in a nutshell:
Analyse the market, competition, customer needs and technology developments in order to find new value opportunities for our solution offering.
Work closely with sales, solution consultants and customers to define the vision, roadmap and innovation plans for your part of the product portfolio and translate that into clear specifications for the development teams.
Manage and prioritize the portfolio backlog using inputs from sales, customers and key opinion leaders.
Guide and provide regular feedback to the development of new products from the initial phase until the final product, in order to get the ‘right product’ with optimal combination of performance and price in time for the defined market segment.
Prepare and plan, together with the sales channels, the market introduction of the new products, including promotion material and product information, in order to generate the largest impact in the market.
To follow the business during the lifecycle of the product and to take corrective actions when needed, in order to generate the maximum profit contribution during the whole life cycle. This is done in close collaboration with development, Q&R, supply chain, service and installation and/ or with external partners.

We are looking for
To be successful as a Product Manager you will have the following:
5+ years of relevant experience in product management.
Experience in bringing new medical devices/IT propositions to the market.
In-depth knowledge about healthcare IT & standards is a plus.
A keen interest in implementing innovative concepts for pricing in the domain of IT and software.
Experience in performing in complex environments and the ability to interact with customers and other stakeholders
Fluent in English, willing to travel (20-30%) and enjoying interactions with a variety of people with different background and personalities
