Description and Responsibilities :
The role will be responsible for a defined set of accounts within Dairy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong set of technical skills including a knowledge of formulation, processing and application. The combination of these skills will enable the candidate to understand customers challenges and recommend and sell Kerry solutions. The candidate should possess strong communication skills that enable them to work with customers procurement, R&D and business management teams. The candidate should possess strong collaborative character attributes that allow for successful relationship building and influencing, internally and externally.
Drive incremental growth by identifying ingredient solutions through the understanding of a customer’s decision making, end-to-end growth strategies, manufacturing and supply chain processes.
Work internally to communicate customers’ technical opportunities, utilize Kerry resources to find solutions and be part of a team that collaborates effectively cross-functionally to develop successful solutions.
Generate sustainable sales through a comprehensive technical knowledge of dairy market applications (processed & natural cheese, yogurt, and other cultured dairy) and apply that knowledge to support growth strategies and solve processor issues using Kerry products.
Develop a comprehensive knowledge of Kerry technologies and capabilities for the dairy market and use this knowledge to deliver innovation ideas and solutions to processors, while protecting Kerry IP.
Position the advantages of Kerry products, capabilities and articulate the benefits and possibilities of those products.
Utilize Dairy Market trends (domestic & international), consumer trends, and new product trends to be able to articulate market awareness and innovation opportunities.
Network within the dairy community and develop commercial relationships with customers, brokers, trade associations and academic institutions.

The role reports to the Director of Dairy, End Use Market.
The position can be located anywhere in the US with easy access to air travel.
Travel is estimated to be 50% Qualifications :
We seek a proven sales builder and innovative leader with a track record of success in selling value added ingredients and solutions in the dairy food industry.
8-10 years progressively responsible post baccalaureate experience in related technical, R&D, or sales roles within a food company. Master's preferred.
Relevant experience in CPG or Dairy food ingredient industry
Experience and knowledge of the operations function, specific to understanding how product development, project solutions and process support is handled within manufacturing.
Experience in selling a variety of food ingredient products and technologies to customer accounts, aligned to taste and technical solutions
Proven ability to collaborate and work successfully on cross-function, matrix, teams
Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes
Demonstrated experience in budgeting and account planning
Experience using CRM technology for customer and project management
Experience in negotiating and communicating pricing
Demonstrated ability to problem solve, execute, and provide strong input to strategy
Strong track record of managing and implementing action plans
Excellent communication (verbal and written)
Clear thinker and communicator, with the ability to clearly articulate and influence across all levels of an organization, both internal and external
