Marsh Services Architect - LOE Office in Atlanta, Georgia
Title: Services Architect - LOE Office Location: US-GA-Atlanta Other Locations: US-IL-Chicago
This role acts as the key steward for the LOE (Level of Effort) process partnering with sales and relationship management colleagues and delivery subject matter experts to provide estimates for new and expanded opportunities. The role creates the standards for estimating for the organization partnering with subject matter experts across multiple teams to develop and maintain the estimating model. The role also builds out tools, documentation and best practices to support the LOE process for the organization. The position requires the ability to work effectively across multiple functions with a focus on continuously improving our ability to accurately estimate the hours needed for new or expanded projects.
LOE Work (Actual LOE build and Facilitation of LOE completion)
Interaction with Client/Sales/Account Executives to clarify scope (requests for additional info , includes communications with Account Executives, Sales, internal Subject Matter Experts)
Admin (reviewing submitted LOE requests, assigning, Weekly Escalation Call, etc)
Facilitation of LOE framework, systems, and ongoing updates of LOE related calculations, best practices and tools.
Cross functional discussion and review of specific project LOE issues, clarifications, suggestions and recommendations
- Bachelors Degree
- 5 Years Experience
Knowledge and skills:
Understanding of key project management concepts and estimating project hours and duration.
Understanding of ClearSight tools and system capabilities
Knowledge of ClearSight resource capabilities to apply to LOE approach
Ability to prioritize and work in an environment of shifting priorities
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to partner with cross functional teams
Ability to define and build processes, procedures and client documentation
Willingness to challenge the status quo and seek out opportunities to improve processes
Ability to balance tactical and strategic responsibilities
