Philips Director, FP&A / PPA - Image Guided Therapy in Andover, Massachusetts

Your challenge

This role will provide dedicated FP&A PPA support to BG IGT ( Image Guided Therapy) with oversight of BU IGT Systems and BU IGT Devices. BG IGT operates with close to 2B in revenue and EBITA% in low teens.

Integration of Volcano acquisition into Philips ways of working and Philips governance model is a key area of activity in the coming period. Implementation of FP&A processes and tools is also a key opportunity, especially with the creation of a new global hub in Chennai, India. This new set up requires change management to get this properly implemented.

Your responsibilities

  • Works proactively with BG HOF, BU controllers and the PPA lead of the cluster Diagnosis & Treatment to deliver actionable, meaningful, accurate and timely reporting, analysis, insights and plans

  • Provides in-depth business insights by forward-looking analyses, and by translating variances in financial and non-financial KPIs for Group, BMCs and functions into actions

  • Initiates, leads, executes analyses or process improvement projects x-CoEs/BG/BU/Market/Functions as well as E2E stakeholders, and ensures effectiveness and efficiency of the processes

  • Build an internal network with Business, Market and Function Heads of Finance, other FP&A and Finance pillars, other functions and the E2E community

  • Oversee and manage key planning cycles for the BG – Strategic Plan, AOP, FC.

  • Model Philips Leadership competencies and Finance ways of working.

We are looking for

Education Qualification :

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in a Business Economics, Finance and/or Accounting orientated study. Professional certifications preferred.

Work Experience:

10-15 years of progressive working experience and roles in e.g. Finance, FP&A, financial control, management reporting and analysis, preferably within an international environment

  • Intellectual capacity to digest complex information, see trends & analysis through data

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to multi task

  • Advanced technical skills in Excel, ERP (SAP preferred) and PowerPoint

  • Experience with reporting & analytical tools, like SPSS, Business-Intelligence environments, SQL, etc.

  • Delivers meaningful, accurate and timely reporting, analysis and planning support for senior analysts, managers and FP&A stakeholders.

  • Has working knowledge of company products and services

  • Strong affinity with LEAN processes and tools
