Come join us as a Consumer Marketing Manager in the highly successful Male Grooming business. You will enter the fast-paced, multinational environment of the Business Group Personal Care at the Philips Consumer Lifestyle Headquarters in Amsterdam.
As a Consumer Marketing Manager Male Grooming you will focus on:
Drive the definition, development and introduction of products, portfolios and road maps (physical and digital) that bring ever-more rewarding and enjoyable experiences for consumers by meeting their needs
Deliver these as part of a broader marketing mix showing an intimate understanding of customers and channels and mastery of shopper marketing in both the digital and physical domains
Steer the Philips integral product development (IPD) process from start to finish, taking new ideas from project brief through to post launch review
Maximize the performance of already existing products and portfolios through commercial innovation whilst phasing out old / underperforming ones to optimize integral business performance
Interact with various disciplines including Innovation, Research & Development, internal and external design agencies, manufacturing units or 3rd party suppliers, marketing management, marketing communication and international sales organizations
You will join the Male Grooming category team within Business Group Personal Care and become part of a sub category team working on the fastest growing part of the portfolio. Philips is the global leader in this sub segment with a healthy and growing business and ambitious future global plans. You will report into to the Sr. Director Consumer Marketing and be working in a network of various stakeholders based in the Netherlands and in key overseas markets (e.g., marketing specialists, key account managers).
We are looking for
A completed Master’s degree
At least 4 years of experience in a (matrixed) international business environment in the field of consumer marketing or product management (experience with personal care products is a plus)
Experience with product development and product launches
Experience with translating market research and shopper insights into product concepts and new propositions
Proven track record with global consumer/retail brands with a demonstrated ability to work with multiple & diverse markets
A consumer focused toward product creation and natural affinity for consumer products
Experience with working with sales and retail is advantageous
Highly entrepreneurial; both analytical and hands-on to driving business growth (result oriented)
Ability to think creatively whilst being firm enough to make, and act upon, clear decisions
Excellent communication skills: international (& C-level) stakeholder management, informing, influencing, convincing, presenting, project mngt
Empathetic skills: working centrally and in local country organizations
Business fluency in English (written & verbal) and one other language as an advantage
