Blackstone Consulting Customer Service Representative in Alton, Illinois
Our client in Alton, IL 62002 is looking for Call Center Rep s to join their team 11/14/16.Hours: Must be available during the hours of 7a-9p (these are not flexible schedules).
Typically assigned shifts are 10:30 – 7, 11 – 7:30, or 12:30 - 9 once they get out of training. And any schedule between hrs of 7am - 9 pm thereafter. They will also work approx every 4th Saturday and every 8th Sunday, with a day off during the week when they do. The weekend shift alternates 8 - 4:30 and 12:30 - 9. For those that are working the 12:30 shift they will not work any weekend shifts.
Classroom training will run for about 4 weeks and those hours are 8 - 4:30. May keep them 8 - 4:30 for another couple of weeks after they come out of training (phone volume at that time will determine that).
Receive inbound calls from customers related to products and services
Clarify the needs of the customer, answer customer inquiries and assist in the resolution of concerns
Track and document customer contacts
Relay customer service problems to team leader
Remain accessible to answer calls 7.5 hours per day
Handle difficult calls and avoid escalation whenever possible
Continuously improve call handling skills, systems knowledge, and communications skills, thus, enhancing customer service levels
Identify and relay to team leader areas for improvement within the customer inquiry and concern resolution processes
Provide exceptional service to the customer that meets or exceeds all contractual service level agreements
Experience working in a call center/customer service or clerical environment
Ability to present information or respond to inquiries from groups of managers, associates, and customers
