JOB DESCRIPTION: Jack Henry is seeking a Systems Engineer Intern in Allen, Texas. This internship will provide a student with practical work experience and strengthen their technical & business skills working within the CPS Systems Engineering group. CPS Systems Engineering and Jack Henry & Associates will benefit by gaining a better understanding of our customer needs and allow us to provide our customers with best in class service and quality. During the internship, the Intern will be responsible for creatively capturing the voice of the customer through interviews, meetings, questionnaire, etc. documenting the findings, analyzing the data, then create and present the findings/results to the CPS Systems Engineering team.
This experience will provide the intern excellent opportunities to design and construct a VOC strategy and process where the intern can utilize their skills in Business Management, Lean Six Sigma, SDLC, Communications, Facilitation, Technical (MS Office, Visio…), Analytical and Presentation. The intern will be responsible for capturing and reporting on the Voice of the Customer (internal & external), participating in meetings, then provide a company-wide presentation on what they learned while at Jack Henry.
Attending an accredited college or university.
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering Technology or Management Information Systems.
Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
Must remain in good academic standing throughout internship.
Able to work up to 40 hours per week throughout the internship.
Junior or senior student (sophomore year completed) at the beginning of internship.
Meet legal requirements to work in the U.S.for an indefinite period of time.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Student internship location will be in Allen, Texas, and students should have access to housing in that area. Paid internship. Dates will run June through mid-August 2017, beginning with an orientation and concluding with a project showcase. Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
