Job Description

Jack Henry & Associates is seeking an administrative professional to support the Jack Henry Banking Sales team. This role performs administrative and office support activities for multiple managers. Duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations and filing. Extensive software skills, Internet research abilities and strong communication skills are needed to find success in this position. Additional responsibilities may include processing expense reports, coordinating the submission of proposals, planning meetings, tracking sales progress, troubleshooting minor technical problems, maintaining department database records. The person in this role will assist sales staff based in remote locations.

Must be based in the Allen, TX location.


  • Minimum of 2 yearsofadministrative assistant experience in fast paced corporate environment.


  • 5 yearsofadministrative assistant experience in fast paced corporate environment..

  • Experience working in the financial services industry.

  • Experience supporting a sales team.

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree.

  • Highly proficient computer skills needed with Windows, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Exceptionalcommunication and interpersonal skills.

  • Flexibility for extended work hours, when necessary.


  • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for thePresidentincluding: managing an active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.

  • Plans, coordinates and ensures thePresident’sschedule is followed and respected.Communicates directly, and on behalf of thePresident,with board members, donors, staff, and others, on matters related toPresident’sinitiatives.

  • Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.

  • Provides a bridge for smooth communication between thePresident’soffice and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.

  • Provides leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization, and manages a variety of special projects for thePresident,some of which may have organizational impact.

  • Develops, designs and maintains information in spreadsheets and database programs using the most complex features of various software programs, (i.e. merge files, import data, graphs, etc.).

  • Monitors reports for quality.

  • Handles strategic management of busy and ever-changing President calendar

  • Schedules and prioritizes internal and external appointments, conferences, speaking engagements, and special events.

  • Assist in the planning of all meetings, including PowerPoint presentations
